In order to provide new educational opportunities in the region, Limerick Institute of Technology opened a new campus in Ennis, County Clare. Clare County Council awarded the construction contract to Jada Construction, and in addition to the redevelopment of the existing office buildings, we were responsible for works to the existing adjacent public footpath and the provision of two new wheelchair-accessible car parking spaces.

To accommodate the two new wheelchair-accessible car parking spaces, we removed sections of the existing footpath, installed new Luogh stone-paving slabs and provided new level-access kerbing. We removed the necessary sections of tarmacadam car parking space, providing two new disabled access bays.

Our work also included the provision of level access to the new entrance door.
